Zardari’s Govt is committed to promote interfaith harmony and tolerance that was why it had pioneered a resolution in the UN calling for interfaith harmony. He is very much conscious of misuse of the law. It is fact that during current regime citizens of Pakistan and minorities are enjoying equal rights to practice their respective religious faiths. The action of Zardari at Gojra Incident very much proves that Govt is very much sensetive to the rights of minorities.
Zardari’s action was very clear message that there is a secular Govt in Pakistan and no one will be allowed to violate the rights of minorities. resident’s action was true proclivity of secular approach.
