The Bihar government is setting up five gymnasiums in Patna to keep people healthy and get them free from mental stress, officials said today.

Officials said the government would open three gyms in the first phase for which tenders had already been floated.

“At presently, we are opening five gyms but its number may increase depending upon demands of the people”, the secretary for Culture and Youth Affairs Department, Bihar, Vivek Kumar Singh said.

“Our purpose is to keep people healthy and get them free from mental stress as a result of urban life style”, he informed.

He said the charges for the gym services has not been decided yet.
