Allscripts says sales will boost financial results

CHICAGO — Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions Inc. said Wednesday it could see better-than-expected fourth-quarter and full-year results because of higher sales.

Allscripts provides health care organizations with electronic health records services.

The company estimated that new orders for its clinical solutions unit during the fourth quarter were about $103 million, or 26 percent higher than $82 million during the same period a year prior. The fiscal fourth quarter and year ended May 31.

In April, the company said it expected full-year revenue between $675 million and $680 million. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expect revenue of $661.3 million.

The company expects to release fourth-quarter and full-year financial results July 20.
