Afghan Army Chief to visit India to strengthen strategic partnership

October 3rd, 2009 WASHINGTON/NEW DELHI - Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh will undertake a visit of the United States in the third week of November.

September 19th, 2009 NEW DELHI - India has welcomed the successful presidential elections in Afghanistan, with the preliminary results in favour of the incumbent, Hamid Karzai. The elections were held Aug 20 but the counting took nearly a month to complete.
