Law exam postponed fearing paper leakMay 13th, 2009 NEW DELHI - The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) that was scheduled for May 17 is now postponed following fears that questions papers were leaked, officials said Wednesday. Veer Singh, convenor CLAT in a statement issued here, said: 'Two locked and sealed steel boxes containing the CLAT-2009 test material have been tampered with deliberately by breaking the latches and the locks, while these boxes were in transit from Hyderabad to Lucknow.'
'In view of the circumstances, there is no other alternative except to postpone the CLAT-2009 test both for undergraduate and postgraduate courses and now it shall not be held May 17, 2009 as scheduled earlier.'
The new date of the CLAT-2009 test shall be announced shortly.
