"A suicide bomber, apparently going to target police and international forces, was killed as his explosive vest went off prematurely in a lane near a local market," police commander in western region Ekramuddin Yawor told Xinhua.

August 17th, 2009 ISLAMABAD - At least 10 people were killed in a suicide blast at a town in Pakistan's North West Frontier Province, media reports said Friday. The reports said the suicide blast took place in a market in Kohat town and several shops were completely destroyed in the blast.

December 27th, 2008 ISLAMABAD - At least 25 people were killed in a blast at a polling station in a Pakistan province as voting was underway in a by-election to the assembly Sunday, TV channels reported. Private news channels Geo TV and the Express News TV reported that six children and some policemen were among the injured in the blast that ripped through a polling station in Buner district in North-West Frontier Province.
