August 19th, 2009 ISLAMABAD - At least 16 people, including four children, were killed Wednesday when the passenger bus in which they were travelling veered off the road and fell into a gorge in northwest Pakistan, TV reports said. The accident occurred in the Mansehra area.

August 14th, 2009 PANAMA - At least 22 people were killed and 18 injured when a passenger bus and a truck collided head on in eastern Panama, media reports said. The accident occurred Thursday night near Pacora town in eastern Panama, the Telemetro TV said.

August 14th, 2009 DHAKA - A speeding bus hit a tree and crashed into a canal in Bangladesh, killing at least 13 people and injuring 10, reports said here today. The accident occurred in Feni, a town 80 miles east of Dhaka, United News of Bangladesh said.

February 16th, 2009 DHAKA - At least eight people were killed and dozens others injured Tuesday as a train collided with a truck in northwestern Bangladesh, the police said. The accident occurred at around noon at the Khasiabari level crossing in Joypurhat district, some 280 km from the capital Dhaka, killing the eight victims on the spot, said inspector Noor Hossain at Joypurhat police station.

December 27th, 2008 DHAKA - Twenty-four people were killed and eight injured when a truck they were travelling in overturned into a roadside ditch Sunday morning in Bangladesh, the police said. The accident took place in Tangail district, 92 km northwest of the capital apparently because of poor visibility in dense fog, district police chief Abdul Mannan told reporters.
