Windows Vista and Server 2008 SP2 Download

windows-vistaMicrosoft's Service Pack 2 (SP2) for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 has been officially released for free public download on Microsoft Download center. It is also being distributed via the updates. The SP2 was earlier released to the subscribers of MSDN and TechNet. Both Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 are provided in a single package to update the two operating systems. The SP2 also includes all the previously released updates since WIndows Vista SP1. In addition, it supports new types of hardware and other emerging standards.

Microsoft to Bring Out Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, Tomorrow

Microsoft had long announced beta version of the second service pack for Windows Vista and Server 2008 will be out in the market. But in the late October, we didn't see anything like that excepting some private distributions. Now Microsoft is finally coming public with it from tomorrow. The releases will be distributed via TechNet.

According to them, this service pack won't hold any significant difference to the other but some really needed bug fixes. It will concentrate upon two things mainly.
