Ubuntu Gaming Community - First step towards FOSS gaming?

What they needed to do was perhaps to build up a community of gamers, a platform for the game freaks so that from there it can start off with a strong userbase. While it was not thought of earlier, now an Ubuntu gaming community has started developing itself. But there are a lot of things to be done.

Top 100 Free Linux Games for the Hardcore Gamer Inside You

Don't call yourself an avid gamer if you've still not battled the Linux games. Often the dabblers ask whether they get as cool games for Linux as for Windows. Well, I don't bother even if Windows tries to scare me with Age of Empires III. I'll tell them about hundreds of Linux games  which are free to modify. So you can take a great game and make it even better. Anyway why should I waste my time and money on proprietary games when there are heaps of electrifying Linux games all for free.
