Thoughts on Trophy - Active Defense System Developed in Israel

The video of trophy shows an interesting concept, active 360 degree defense of static and moving vehicles like tanks from ATR's and ATGM's. While it was not shown, I think it is safe to guess Trophy uses several kinetic energy projectile prediction system (in real time) with high powered lasers to counter the threat. While it is an innovative approach to creating a defense shield, I think it is susceptible to low tech techniques. Depending on its detection sensitivity, I would assume several simultaneous projectiles (like stones) thrown at it can keep it busy while one or more actual ATR's or ATGM's does the damage by sneaking in. Also I suspect it will be vulnerable to guided missiles, any missiles which can alter velocity and direction mid-flight. But then what do I know? I am sure several billions are being poured into this research, money which could have effectively eradicated the world of many diseases or feed millions for years.
