Trent Reznor, the leading man of Nine Inch Nails and a digital music visionary, thrashed Apple the other day because the NiN app was disapproved off an update on the grounds of "objectionable content" (read: too many F-attacks). Everyone was aware of Apple being one of the front runners in mobile phone industry, but no one could have guessed the acceleration with which it is turning the heat. The recent news is Apple has touched a ginormous 300Million apps download from their app stores.

The analysts estimate that Apple had touched  the first 100 million downloads in 2 months and then, it took them 43 days each to touch the same. Though the curve looks a bit flat now, any one from mobile industry will take it with both hands.
