Twitter a Threat for Google? Not yet, Never Ever says Schmidt
Social networking on the internet is fast becoming the sole or most important reason for people to come and spend time online. With the increasing popularity of Facebook, Myspace, Orkut, and newly twitter, the live interaction and real time exchange of knowledge is increasing day by day. So can there be a day where gradually Google will start feeling the heat as their search index doesn't keep up with conversations as quickly as Twitter's and people will rather ask others but google? A late news is a no news we all know that. So can there be a saturation point after which a large portion of the knowledge sharing will be real time?
When Eric Schmidt, Google's CEO, was asked about this by CNN, the usually very quiet and restrained person couldn't but laugh it off as absurd and irrelevant.
