Gmail brings in regional language to your mail. So, the next time you will be able to mail someone with namaste in hindi fonts. When you click the Indian languages icon, you can type words the way they sound in English and Gmail will automatically convert the word to its Indian local language equivalent. For example, if a Hindi speaker types namaste, that will transliterate this to नमस्ते. Similarly, vanakkam in Tamil will become வணக்கம். Currently it supports five Indian languages — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Read on to know how to activate it.

In this age of emails, something I still appreciate about postal mails is the sender's address. The emails only carry the date and times but not the sender's address. This is something the jetsetter, who are always on move, would try to avoid. It is same with me, I always find my friends mailing me - where are you? I have seen those die hard Evolution fans (for Linux users) and those not ready to give up Thunderbird at any cost. If possible they'd never fancy with any other email client.
