GoDaddy Profits Off Your Unused Domains, Is It Fair?

GoDaddy is a arguably the largest domain name register. Yet it does something which I am not very comfortable with - make profit off your domain names and does that without your explicit permission. Previously when you wanted to register a domain name you had to provide at least two domain name servers. With GoDaddy you can register any domain name without having to specify DNS servers for it. You are not even given the option to specify your own DNS servers. So how does GoDaddy supply the required DNS servers?

Domain Name Servers resolves domain names to IP addresses. However how can you resolve the domain names of the domain name servers? For examples our domain name servers are at ns1.taragana.com and ns2.taragana.com. They resolves the domain names of all our sites like blog.taragana.com or stemcell.taragana.net. How To Implement Round Robin DNS for Load Balancing Servers

Round robin DNS is a simple way to load balance your servers. You can use it balance the load between multiple web / ftp or other servers. Each server has its own IP address. Solving named.conf error: change directory to /var/named/chroot/var/named failed file not found

After the recent yum update, named failed to load. I tried searching Google without much help. The permissions were all correct and yet named failed to load. And then I found the simple solution.
