It's just one day to go before
If you were one of those chosen ones who made pre-order for his/her iPhone last year and didn't receive it on the launch, you can launch a campaign against the sales delay this time, lol. Well, this time AT&T has set the pre-warning that those making iPhone 3G S pre-orders might not receive their handsets on the launch date. The US carriers have asked the staff to tell customers that the pre-orders due on Saturday the 13th or later will not reach on launch and these mobile sets would reach their destination 7 to 14 days after the order date. Now, if you are not ready to wait there's another way you can get the next-gen iPhone.
Going by the grapevine, the next-gen iPhone model would feature video chat. The feature would be supported by AT&T's plans to expand to a faster wireless network called HSPA 7.2 later this year. No doubt, video chat would enrich the experience of iPhone users, capitalizing on AT&T's swift. The video chat feature may not be available with the July release of next-gen iPhone, still having a faster network with the 3G upgrade is always great. Although the AT&T spokeswomen made no comment on whether the new iPhone would offer HSPA 7.2 support. However, she added multiple HSPA 7.2 compatible laptop cards and smartphones will be introduced later in 2009. AT&T is an exclusive carrier for Apple's iPhone in the US.
