If you have a computer and unfortunately you live in a power-cut prone area, by now you know this subject is of your utmost interest. And ours were just that. In order to understand the nitty-gritties of an UPS and also to have a comparative picture of all the leading UPS companies in India, we had called them up directly to take a survey. There are several ways to implement virtualization. Two leading approaches are full virtualization and para-virtualization.
Full Virtualization
Full virtualization provides total abstraction of the underlying physical system and create a complete virtual system in which the guest operating system can execute. No modification is required in the guest operating system or application; the guest OS or application is not even aware that it is running within a virtualized environment. The guest OS executes on the VM just as they would on a physical system. This approach can be advantageous because it enables complete decoupling of the software from the hardware. As a result, full virtualization can streamline migration of applications and workloads between different physical systems. Full virtualization provides complete isolation of different virtualized applications, which makes this approach highly secure by design. Microsoft Virtual Server and Vmware ESX Server are examples of full virtualization.

I know most of you would be outraged at such a question. However just for a moment take a look at the biodata of a jehadi who worked as a senior software engineer / architect at Yahoo. He is a capable technologist, has deep understanding of Linux, Unix & nginx, httpd and other technologies. He is a must hire at most companies he will apply to. However the situation changes drastically if you knew he was a hardcore jehadi and responsible for mass-murder / terrorist attacks.

By now all of are aware how Mansoor Peerbhoy has masterminded the terrorist attacks in India, that he showed no remorse in killing non-muslims and doesn't care about the consequences, you are also aware how he was a senior software engineer working at Yahoo / Zimbra and earning an impressive salary by Indian standards. You also heard that he was very tech savvy and an nginx (a faster and apparently better alternative to Apache web server or even lighttpd web server) expert. Just how tech savvy was he?

Google Analytics is a trusted third party service that provides an accurate view and detailed analysis of performance statistics of your website without asking for your own resource. It may sound strange that some other website is tracking your performance without you having to provide anything. But that is where the contrasting concept comes in and Google Analytics differ from other self hosting analytics service providers like, Wusage and Webalizer.

The best part of Linux (imho) is the ability to replicate not only the operating system or the data but also the boot loader. This allows you to have two identical disks running RAID-1, each of which are independently bootable, should one of them fail. You can also add spare disks to the RAID-1 array to automatically use it to reconstruct the RAID-1 array when one of the RAID-1 disks fail. However configuring it may not always be the simplest. Let's see if I can simplify it for you.
The boot partition (primary partition) can be RAID-0 or RAID-1. Only a fool would configure the boot device as RAID-0 and double the chance of failure. However when you configure it as RAID-1, you are making your boot device 100% redundant and hence robust.
BTW: Can you boot on a RAID-1 drive in Windows? … NO.
