July 3rd, 2005 I came across the Giraffe Theme from Urban Design which is unique for several reasons. To my knowledge it is the only theme which comes with an administrative for customizing colors, no of posts and other details: Change colour scheme Change font and font size Change whether to have a full-width lead post, or more traditional two-column layout Change page dimensions Configure number of lead posts, recent posts, random posts, and latest comments Switch logo on or off The theme is innovative in its layout and positioning of content.

April 19th, 2005 Recently the question (How to add add custom functions to a theme) was posed in WordPress Support Forum. Personally I faced the same question when re-designing this site.

May 28th, 2008 We are incrementally adding changes to our site, replacing portions of our old theme with a new one. Upgrading a theme is harder than it looks.

September 23rd, 2006 Semiologic Theme by Denis de Bernardy ships with several plugins including my original Translator Plugin illegally and without my permission (proof 1 & proof 2). I provide several of my plugins (which consume a significant amount of my time and resources) for free to the WordPress community.

June 14th, 2007 Weblog tools collection has announced a WordPress plugins competition. The competition began on 1st June (2007) and will last till the end of July.

January 24th, 2007 WordPress just released version 2.1. We have tested Translator Plugin Pro with 2.1 release and it works perfectly out of the box.
