I briefly reviewed my corpus of 4569 comment spams in my Akismet queue. I brevemente esaminato il mio corpus di 4569 commenti spam nella mia Akismet coda. It indicates that, even with today’s distributed spamming attacks, IP blocking is still an effective means of blocking comment spamming. Essa indica che, anche oggi con lo spamming attacchi distribuiti, IP blocco è ancora un mezzo efficace per bloccare lo spamming commento.

Very interesting - do you put those IPs into Options > Discussion or do you use .htaccess ? Molto interessante - li metti quelle IP in Opzioni> Discussione fare o che si usa. Htaccess?

I block them at the server. I loro a bloccare il server. They are blocked from accessing my Sono bloccato da mio Virtual Private Server Virtual private server .

Top 100 my ass. Top 100 mio asino. How old is that list? Quanti anni è che la lista? Some of them are not even listed in any of the spam indexes. Alcuni di loro non sono anche elencati in una qualsiasi delle spam indici. Most are listed in one or two of the MINOR indexes. La maggior parte sono elencati in uno o due di minore indici. A few are really bad ones worth blocking. Alcuni sono davvero male vale la pena di blocco.
