WordPress Beats Blogger in Google Search & News

November 21st, 2005 WordPress.com has finally opened for free signup by everyone. You no longer have to be a privileged invitee or a Flock user or use my hack to get an invotation.

September 24th, 2007 A simple google search reveals over 55.5 million pages are generated using WordPress today. The WordPress search volume shows a healthy increase over time as can be seen from the graph.

July 9th, 2006 Nowadays it is common to complain about the accuracy of Google web search results (not image search as I have done in my earlier post). Most of the people complaining about Google web search are SEO types and those who have been affected by sudden lack of Google love.

August 21st, 2006 A Chinese blogger finds Google.com inaccessible around 60% of the time whereas Google.cn is perfectly accessible. Is it coincidence or intetnional? Is Google intentionally blocking Google.com in China and providing intermittent access instead of outright banning to prevent backlash from internet community & activists.

Unfortunately WordPress sees it as two links and a plain word: "This is" is hyperlinked to www.google.com "www.yahoo.com" is hyperlinked to www.yahoo.com "link" is not hyperlinked at all Did you read about the other hyperlinking defect?
