The wp-content directory should be writable by the process running php, which normally has the same permissions as your webserver (like Apache). The diasbling of links means anyone with access to the url’s to create and delete your referer.txt will not be able to. This is really a strange bug, not sure why it is happening. Esto es realmente un extraño error, no está seguro de por qué está sucediendo.
I have your noreferrer plugin on a different wp 1.5 blog and there seem to be no problems there. He noreferrer su plugin en otro wp 1,5 blog y al parecer no hay problemas allí.
But with this one, right after I put it in my plugin directory, and then go to my admin plugin section. Pero con éste, justo después puse en mi directorio de plugin, y luego ir a mi sección admin plugin. And then when I try to activate it, it also hangs and gets stuck. not sure what else could be wrong.. No está seguro de qué otra cosa podría estar equivocado .. maybe I will just have to use the hashcash plugin for now.. tal vez yo sólo tendrán que usar el plugin hashcash por ahora ..

There isn’t anything which can cause this behavior. No hay nada que puede causar este comportamiento. I am as surprised as you are. Estoy sorprendido como lo es usted. Never had any other reports before even remotely like this. Nunca he tenido cualquier otro informe antes de siquiera remotamente como éste.
Just a hunch.
