Everyone today is talking about Web 2.0. Todo mundo é hoje a falar da Web 2,0. In the post-dotcom era several concepts were re-defined, old ideas re-emerged with new variations. Na época do pós-dotcom diversos conceitos foram re-definido, idéias antigas re-emergiram com novas variações. Does that make it Web 2.0 or is it yet another faux-meme and marketing hype? Será que se tornam Web 2,0 ou é mais um faux-meme e marketing hype? Let’s explore… Vamos explorar…

O’Reilly roughly defines Web 2.0 with the following transformations: O'Reilly aproximadamente 2,0 define Web com os seguintes transformações:

We can disagree with some of these items. Podemos discordar com alguns destes itens. For example I don’t think tagging is really a replacement for taxonomy (directories). Most of these changes were gradual and now some of them are firmly re-defining the existing way of doing business.
