Translator Plugin Pro & Gold tries through all the available engines for a language combination to translate the page. This ensures much higher reliability than single engine translations.

We use several translation engines. Each engine occasionally gives certain errors which we recognize and take appropriate action. Such action may include turning off the engine for a certain period of time to prevent further penalty from that engine.

Sometimes, for language combinations where engines are limited, all the engines may be temporarily unavailable for certain languages in a blog. In such rare cases Translator fails to provide translation for a page to that particular language. It then displays a custom error page indicating its temporary inability to translate the page to the requested language. Error pages are not cached.

The error page displays the same message in multiple languages in Google style (for AdSense error pages).

With time as more and more pages are translated and cached the chances of such errors reduces as the load on translation engines are reduced.

Translator Gold users can use Tor and multiple ip's to further reduce the load on translation engines and hence the chances of such errors.
