April 9th, 2009 Ubuntu is perhaps the richest graphically well equipped operating system from the Linux world. It gives us a more sophisticated flavor that an usual Linux misses in the eyes of a layman.

October 9th, 2009 CentOS Enterprise Linux 5 is built from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux source code. Other than logo and name changes CentOS Enterprise Linux 5 is compatible with the equivalent Red Hat version.

February 12th, 2009 Ubuntu seems to change the way one thinks about Linux. Ubuntu is one of the fastest growing Linux distributions available.  I won't say it's because Ubuntu is 100% free, there's much more to it.

February 18th, 2007 The basic idea of RAID (Redundant Arrays of Inexpensive Disks) is to combine multiple small, independent disk drives into an array of disk drives which yields performance and recoverability exceeding that of a Single Large Expensive Drive (SLED). Redundancy is also provided (unless RAID 0) which allows easy and often automatic recovery from hard disk crash.

July 7th, 2005 I hate to say this but after installing Ubuntu on a 1.8 GHz PC with 256 MB RAM, I found it to be slower than Windows 2000. Here is my experience.
