Tracking Outbound Clicks With Google Analytics

February 5th, 2008 Every time I have to find the Google Analytics tracking code again for an existing website (rather profile) , I go through the same pain of hunting it down as it is definitely not obvious. Google Analytics tracking code is unique for each profile.

November 29th, 2005 No questions. Previously I wasn't sure if it worked as the site was bogged down by heavy traffic.

August 2nd, 2006 Google Analytics increased the number of default profiles from 5 to 10. This increases the number of websites you can track.

November 17th, 2005 I hear rants and raves about Google Analytics all of which are based on their cool demo graphics. However nobody yet mentioned whether they were able to see their own statistics.

January 8th, 2008 It has been several hours since Google search went down. Google services on google.com domain, including but not limited to GMail or Google Analytics, Google Adsense etc., are down too while blogsearch.google.com is up and running.

February 24th, 2009 Are you a budding web admin or a blogger? The all important Google God is of prime importance and consideration if you wish to earn from your blog ads. They are almost the sole source of income for you when you are starting.  So better not to offend them.

April 29th, 2006 In an interesting move Microsoft decided to turn off outbound filtering of inbuilt Firewall in Vista by default. Outbound filtering for applications will configurable by enterprise administrators through Group Policy.

November 5th, 2008 Google Analytics is repeatedly failing today. Whenever I am trying to change my dates or even switch from dialy to weekly view I am getting the dreaded message: There was an error fetching data for this view.

October 6th, 2008 Google Analytics is a trusted third party service that provides an accurate view and detailed analysis of performance statistics of your website without asking for your own resource. It may sound strange that some other website is tracking your performance without you having to provide anything.
