When the whole dotNet started coming out (but Really coming out, not just DNA and some predated stuff) the C# developers kept running on a rumour that Java is interpreted and thus will always be slower than dotNet, which has a JIT compiler. I do think Java insulates you from the computer and as such is a bad place to start learning. Penso si isola di Java dal computer e, come tale, è un pessimo punto di partenza per l'apprendimento. And I think the JVM loading time is a huge issue; you might get away with ignoring it for long-running programs but certainly not for short-lived programs. I use 1.8Ghz as well as a 400Mhz machine with jdk1.5. Io uso 1.8Ghz e una macchina 400Mhz con jdk1.5. I have never felt startup time as an issue, deefinitely way under 3 seconds. Non mi sono mai sentito il tempo di avvio come un problema, deefinitely modo di meno di 3 secondi. Try running a HelloWorld to verify my claim. Prova a pubblicare una Ciao a verificare il mio credito.
Multi-process JVM is also a solution as Avid said before. Multi-processo JVM è anche una soluzione Avid come detto prima. However with the startup times I am seeing I fail to see why it is an issue. Tuttavia, con l'avvio volte vedo Non vedo il motivo per cui è un problema.
