November 11th, 2008 WordPress 2.7 (read detailed review) beta 2 fixes some crucial and long standing bugs in WordPress, so much so that it is worth looking into adopting it without waiting for the final release. The key fixes in WordPress 2.7 Beta 2: Javascript in admin panel was broken when a blog had no comments, causing several of the UI elements to freeze.

December 7th, 2007 There is a widespread assumption by many bloggers that comments on old posts are mostly spam. There are several WordPress plugins to prevent commenting on old posts, even posts as recent as one month old like, for example, Akismet.

Now BlogAds is an independent entity and it is likely that the pageviews they are reporting is pretty accurate and real users (or at least bots who also fetches associated javascripts).
