The cloud based computing is going to offer virtual solutions for Operating Systems, ranging from Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Solaris to nearly any client device, including Sun Ray thin clients and other platforms with Java-based browsers.

The power consumption of the device is 4-5 watt and thus makes it more compatible with Green Technology. Besides, Cloud based solution is a zero maintenance device. Sun also offers the Sun Ray technology with built-in VPN security so that parents, teachers and administrators can feel secured in terms of privacy of students on the network said a press release.
