Our DSL link, provided by لدينا ربط خطوط الاشتراك الرقميه ، التي تقدمها BSNL Bsnl (aka World’s crappiest broadband service), was down yesterday causing enormous hardship. (اكا في العالم crappiest خدمة النطاق العريض) ، انخفض امس تسبب معاناة هاءله. However today when it came back up, I could connect it using Windows (yeah, we still have couple of spare laptops lying around) but not on Linux. ولكن عندما يتعلق الامر اليوم نسخة احتياطية ، أنا يمكن ربطها باستخدام ويندوز (نعم ، لا يزال لدينا القليل من الكذب حول تجنيب الحواسيب الحجريه) ولكن ليس على لينكس. It gave me errors like: وهو اعطاني اخطاء مثل :
1. pppoe: Timeout waiting for PADO packets 1. Pppoe : الانتظار لفترة الاستراحه pado الرزم
2. LCP: timeout sending Config-Requests 2. برنامج اللغات والتواصل : فترة الاستراحه - تطلب الى ارسال أعداد

All the while the lights (DSL, Power and LAN) were on indicating connectivity. وفي حين ان جميع الاضواء (دي اس ال والكهرباء والشبكه المحلية) كانت تشير الى الربط. I could also connect to the modem indicating that the connection was ok (think again!). ويمكنني ايضا الى ربط مودم الصدد مشيرا الى ان كان اوك) اعتقد مرة أخرى!). I tried everything imaginable like re-running the حاولت كل شيء يمكن تخيلها مثل اعادة تشغيل adsl-setup خط المشترك الرقمي غير المتماثل - الاعداد to create a new connection after deleting the old one, directly used adsl-connect, restarted network, even rebooted. لإنشاء لجنة جديدة الصدد بعد حذف القديمة ، واستخدامها مباشرة - ربط خط المشترك الرقمي غير المتماثل ، واعادة الشبكه ، حتى اعيد تشغيل. None of them helped. وساعدت احدا منهم.

Finally I did the obvious, pushed harder the LAN cable connecting the computer to the DSL. واخيرا فعلت واضح ، دفعت اصعب الكابل الذي يربط الشبكه المحلية لجهاز الكمبيوتر الدي اس ال. And then the connection was back up! وبعد ذلك الصدد هو العودة!

So in conclusion never forget the obvious, the first thing you should try is push / adjust the LAN cables to ensure proper connectivity. حتى في الختام لن ننسى ابدا واضحة ، فان أول شيء يجب عليك هو محاولة دفع / تعديل كابلات الشبكه المحلية لضمان حسن الاتصال. In my experience with networks, over 90% of the problems are due to cabling. في تجربتي مع الشبكات ، اكثر من 90 ٪ من المشاكل بسبب كابلات.
