The RSPCA is urging pet owners to be aware of diseases that pets can have that are normally not associated with animals like diabetes. وقد rspca يحث اصحاب الحيوانات الاليفه الى ان تكون على علم امراض الحيوانات الاليفه التي يمكن ان يكون لها عادة لا ترتبط مع الحيوانات مثل مرض السكري.


Amid National Diabetes Week, the RSPCA says even though it is a rare disease in animals, it can still happen. وسط الاسبوع الوطنى للسكري ، rspca يقول على الرغم من انه هو مرض نادر في الحيوانات ، فانه لا يزال يمكن ان يحدث.

Symptoms owners should be aware of animals include drinking and urinating more, initially eating more and then progressing to eating less and loss of appetite to vomiting and weight loss. الأعراض وينبغي ان يدرك أصحاب الحيوانات وتشمل مياه الشرب والتبول اكثر من ذلك ، في بادئ الأمر ثم آكل اكثر وأقل تقدما الى الاكل وفقدان الشهيه والى القيء وفقدان الوزن.

The RSPCA’s Ann Covill says there are measures that can be taken to ensure a longer life. وقد rspca 'sالشبكه العربية الاخباريه covill يقول ان هناك تدابير يمكن اتخاذها لضمان حياة اطول.

“It is a life threatening condition and these animals need to be monitored and maintained - many for the rest of their life,” he said. "انها تهدد حياة هذه الحيوانات وحالتها والحاجة الى رصد والحفاظ -- الكثير بالنسبة لبقية حياتهم".

“Some of them can be maintained on diet modifications, but you obviously have to be very vigilant and very aware of the subtle changes of these animals to prevent them from deteriorating quickly.” "وبعضها لا يمكن الحفاظ على ادخال تعديلات على النظام الغذائي ، ولكن من الواضح جدا ان تكون متيقظه جدا وادراكا للتغيرات خفية من هذه الحيوانات لمنعها من التدهور بسرعة".
