Rentacoder is where companies outsource their software projects. Long time back I dabbled with RentACoder, got 10 out 10 on all the projects and so I still retain a high ranking and often get invited to do projects.

This is one such project I got invited to. The buyer wants a full-scale book store website developed with mini-ebay like specifications for a maximum of 75$ and within 15 days. If only EBay knew ;)
