A big point about open source is that the license helps protect you from a change in the proprietor. I don’t disagree with that. Io non d'accordo con questo. I just don’t think OSS is the solution. Ho appena non credo che OSS è la soluzione. A better license with an exception clause for Linux is all it needs. Una migliore di licenza con una clausola d'eccezione per Linux è che tutti i bisogni.

You bet they do. Per chi scommette che fanno. I would have done too and for two valid reasons. Avrei fatto troppo e per due valide ragioni. Keeping Java ownership gives them name and fame and obviously some advantage in their venture in software services arena (why do you think IBM created jikes). In an interview, Gosling argues that Harmony ammounts to forking, even if it doesn’t create a fork and Apache sais it doesn’t want to fork. In un'intervista, Gosling sostiene che Harmony ammounts a biforcare, anche se non crea una forchetta e Apache sais non vuole forcella.
