Try using AVAST. I am using this with Mercury and got caught by the resident scanner blocking the server. However you can set it to work silently. Just note that you have to set the silent option for the heuristic scan seperately; I didn’t spot this the first time.
My problem with Mercury is that it seems to have a problem of repeatedly sending the same message. I am sitting at home and have just received the 14th copy of an email. Will have to sort this in the am. Googling suggests that it may be down to timeouts on the SMTP link to the ISP hmmm?
