MindTree unveils knowledge management solution

January 18th, 2009 BANGALORE - Hit by a massive forex loss due to a weakening rupee, global IT services firm MindTree Ltd. Monday reported a lower consolidated net profit of Rs.103 million (Rs.10.3 crore) for the third quarter (October-December) of this fiscal (2008-09), posting a negative growth of 48 percent year-on-year.

September 29th, 2009 MUMBAI - Software major MindTree said it would acquire the Bangalore-based subsidiary of Kyocera Wireless by making an upfront payment of $6 million, while further payments would be linked to revenues in the next two fiscals. "We expect this acquisition to contribute approximately $9 million in revenues for the period October 2009 to March 2010, with profit after tax expected to be in the range of 13-15 percent," MindTree said in a regulatory statement.

June 30th, 2009 THIRUVANANTHAPURAM - IBS Software Services, a city-based IT solutions provider to travel, transportation and logistics industry, has signed an agreement with Malysia Airlines for providing a crew management solution, the company said Tuesday. As per the contract, signed in Kuala Lumpur Tuesday, the IBS software, "Avient Crew", will replace the airline's two existing crew management systems - one for managing technical crew roster and the other for cabin crew roster.
