People hate abrupt changes to the way they work. الناس يكرهون التغيرات المفاجءه لطريقة عملها. So changes have to be introduced, slowly but steadily. ذلك ان التغييرات التي ادخلت ، ببطء ولكن باطراد. Same for introducing agile methodologies to customers. نفس المنهجيات لادخال مرونة للعملاء. As much as we would all like to believe that the case for agile development, XP in particular, is so strong that all we have to do is “educate” the customer, reality states otherwise. وبقدر ما اننا جميعا نود ان نعتقد ان الحال بالنسبة للمرونة في التنمية ، ولا سيما في اكس بي ، شديدة للغاية حتى ان كل الذي يتعين علينا القيام به هو "علم" العميل ، والواقع خلاف ذلك. In my experience I have found some customers are very afraid to begin with and there isn’t enough time to convince him otherwise before you lose the deal. في تجربتي لقد وجدت بعض العملاء خائف جدا ان تبدأ مع وليس هناك ما يكفي من الوقت لاقناعه بخلاف ذلك قبل أن تفقد هذه الصفقة.
So what options do we have? حتى ما هي الخيارات المتاحة لدينا؟ Personally I provide a bridge between customers bduf, spec heavy system of thought and my programmers agile style of development. انا شخصيا توفير جسر بين الزبائن bduf ، المضاربه الثقيلة للنظام والفكر والمبرمجين بلدي مرونة أسلوب التنمية. I am the customer to them. انا العميل لها. While I provide the specs , with some help, to the people who feel comfortable with documentation. وفي حين انني توفر المواصفات ، مع بعض المساعدة ، لشعب من تشعر بالراحه مع الوثائق. Once the project succeeds I credit it to the agile methodologies and slowly gain enough confidence of the customer to move to increasingly agile system, thereby reducing my role in the process. وبمجرد ان نجح المشروع الاول الائتمان الى مرونة والمنهجيات وببطء كسب ما يكفي من الثقة للعميل للانتقال الى نظام مرونة متزايدة ، مما يقلل من دور بلدي في هذه العملية.
Sounds simple? أصوات بسيطة؟ In practice it is often frustrating to act as bridge and be responsible for reams of documentation. في الممارسه العملية أنه كثيرا ما يكون محبطا للعمل الجسر ويكون مسؤولا عن رزمه من الوثائق. Hopefully there will be good tools soon enough to address this space. ونأمل ان سيكون هناك ما يكفي من الأدوات الجيدة في وقت قريب للتصدي لهذا الفضاء.
