Mambo and Drupal are both feature-rich leading Open Source CMS (Content Management System). مامبو ودروبال هي سمة الغنيه على حد سواء مما ادى المصادر المفتوحه اتفاقيه الانواع المهاجره (نظام ادارة المحتوى). We presently use Mambo on our ونحن حاليا لدينا على استخدام مامبو corporate site موقع الشركة .

Mambo has always been the poster boy for ease of installation and newbie friendliness, not to mention the marketing dollars of Miro. مامبو كان دائما ملصق الصبي لسهولة التركيب ومدى ملاءمته للمبتدئ ، ناهيك عن التسويق دولار من ميرو. Mambo was largely driven by Miro along with a core of volunteer developers. مامبو وكان ميرو تدفعها الى حد كبير الى جانب مجموعة من المطورين المتطوعين.

Drupal has been a community driven project from start. دروبال لقد كان المجتمع مدفوعه من بدء المشروع. However as purely community driven projects go, it didn’t have much advertising dollars to spend. ولكن محضة لمشاريع التي تديرها الذهاب المجتمع ، فهي لا تملك الكثير من الاعلان دولار للانفاق. So it has always been a low key presence. ولذلك كان دائما وجود منخفض الرئيسية. However that doesn’t reflect on its true capabilities. بيد انه لا يعبر عن معناه الحقيقي والقدرات.

Miro recently took control over Mambo causing the unhappy “core-team” to ميرو اتخذت مؤخرا السيطرة على مامبو تسبب التعيس "- فريق الاساسية" fork Mambo شوكة مامبو .

In this light it is interesting to review the differences between two leading Open Source Content Management System. وفي ضوء ذلك ومن المثير للاهتمام ان اعادة النظر في الخلافات بين دولتين مما يؤدي المصدر المفتوح نظام ادارة المحتوى.

Xaneon, a company specializing in developing mambo extensions, has written an Xaneon ، وهي شركة متخصصه في تمديدات مامبو الناميه ، لقد كتب احد excellent article citing the reasons they switched to Drupal المادة ممتازة مشيرا الى انها تحولت الى أسباب دروبال .

The key points from the article are: النقاط الرئيسية من هذه المادة هي :

Mambo has better look and feel and easy to configure for the first time. وقد مامبو افضل الشكل والمظهر وسهلة تهيئة للمرة الاولى. It has better add-on(extensions, modules, templates etc.) management. وقد تضاف - على نحو أفضل (التمديدات ، ونماذج وقوالب الخ) الادارة.
BTW: This is something which many Open Source products need to improve upon including WordPress which powers this site. راجع للشغل : هذا شيء كثير من المصادر المفتوحه التي تحتاج الى تحسين المنتجات بما فيها بناء على الصلاحيات التي WordPress هذا الموقع.

Mambo is not very plugin-author friendly as it doesn’t provide very many hooks into the core. مامبو البرنامج المساعد ليست غاية في التأليف ودية نظرا الى انه لا يوفر للغاية في كثير من هوكس الاساسية. I think however that can be easily remedied. ولكن اعتقد انه يمكن بسهولة معالجة.

Drupal is more cleanly designed with extensibility in mind and more flexible. دروبال اكثر مصممة بطريقة نظيفة مع التمدد في اعتبارها واكثر مرونة.

Drupal provides a standard high-level API for developing extensions and making it easier to extend Drupal in a standard way with uniform look-and-feel. دروبال توفر مستوى رفيع المستوى API لتطوير وتمديدات مما قد يسهل على تمديد دروبال في وسيلة معياريه موحدة مع نظرة ويشعرون.

Drupal provides better support for internationalization through i18n module. دروبال ينص على تقديم دعم افضل لالتدويل من خلال وحدة i18n.

Drupal has better support of Search-Engine-Friendly URLs in core and through modules. وقد دروبال دعما افضل للمحرك البحث في عناوين المواقع الصديقه من خلال وحدات اساسية.

Drupal supports multiple sites with a single installation with fine-grained access control and ability to selectively share configuration settings and database tables. دروبال يدعم مواقع متعددة مع واحدة مع غرامة تركيب الحبيبات التحكم في الوصول والقدرة على حصة انتقاءيه اعدادات التهيءه وجداول قاعدة البيانات.

Drupal comes with better templating system. يأتي مع دروبال افضل نظام templating.

The authors concluded that Drupal is much more productive in creating and managing multiple sites with unique look-and-feel. وخلص الى ان واضعي دروبال هو أكثر فائدة في انشاء وادارة مواقع متعددة مع نظرة فريدة ويشعر.

I am already experimenting with Drupal and I tend to agree with the conclusions above. وأنا بالفعل تجارب دروبال وانني اميل الى الاتفاق مع الاستنتاجات المذكورة اعلاه.
