infopoint_245x140NEW DELHI - InfoPrint Solutions Company, a joint venture between IBM and Ricoh, announced the appointment of Christopher Reid as Vice President and General Manager of its Asia Pacific operations headquartered in Singapore. Previously, the Director of Global Solutions, Reid takes over this role from Benoit Chatelard, who was recently appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of Europe, Middle East and Africa for the company.

Reid will be responsible for the strategic planning, business development and management of key functions for the region, including sales, channels, services, finance and marketing. In this role, he reports directly to Daisuke Segawa, President and CEO, InfoPrint Solutions Company.

Reid has extensive experience in the printing industry, including monochrome and color CF technology with a unique blend of hands-on operations in IT, solutions marketing and sales.

In addition, Reid has a detailed understanding of emerging technologies and global industry trends that are relevant to the Asia Pacific market.
