How To Solve Gnome Panels Not Displaying Problem?

May 25th, 2009 After writing a detailed guide of tips and howtos about Xfce (a free desktop environment for Unix and other platforms such as Linux, Solaris and BSD) we started our expedition on Xfce and soon encountered a problem that we had no feasible and complete solution to. One of our developers was having some problems with the Xfce panels.

In javascript array if you add a comma after the last element in the array then Internet Explorer fails with a variety of undecipherable (Microsoft style) error messages.

May 1st, 2006 The form element input with type text strangely refuses to align with an adjacent image button (input element of type image). The problem is rather hard to solve as regular methods like using align or margin or padding or even adding whitespace to the image fails.
