   In server side, we can restart the DNS service to flush the DNS Dans côté serveur, nous pouvons redémarrer le service DNS pour purger le DNS

   I tried it (except that XP Run brings up Documents and Settings etc. after C: ) and got err msg: Could not flush DNS Resolver cache. I was told that I could not use the Repair feature for my LAN until I flushed the DNS cache.    you have to check whether the DNS Server and DNS Client services are running on your PC before flushdns vous devez vérifier si le DNS Server et Client DNS sont les services actifs sur votre PC avant flushdns
