How is Amitabh Bachchan’s Blog Relevant?

August 20th, 2008 Bravo Google AdSense! Every day I am losing my faith in Google technologies. How could any context sensitive technology in the whole wide world think wife sharing guide is relevant to people interested in iPhone 3G? I would rather have no ads than ads for wife sharing on my blog.

January 16th, 2007 Google AdSense is known for its uncanny relevance in serving context sensitive ads. Its competitors like Yahoo Publisher Network and Kontera aren't being able to make significant inroads to AdSense / AdWords customer based primarily due to relevance, perceived or otherwise.

September 9th, 2007 Sometimes I see comments where the name of the person is not really his name but a popular keyword which obviously links to his website. While I understand the need to have link-love for useful comments and even encourage it, the name field shouldn't be abused by using keywords like "Web Banner Design", for example.

March 25th, 2009 Google search has been tweaked and as you have already guessed it, its gone better. According to a recent post from the official google blog, Google search is now able to target more queries, more languages, and make our suggestions more relevant to what you actually need to know.

March 7th, 2009 Yesterday, for around 10 hours, Google AdSense served less relevant contextually-targeted ads instead of regular context sensitive ads, thereby lowering revenue for many sites for the day. Unfortunately Google will not be adjusting it manually to compensate you for the loss either.

July 21st, 2008 I am continually amazed at how relevant ads (context sensitive advertisement) AdSense serves on certain articles. Here is a recent example on my post about future WordPress plugins.

March 2nd, 2006 Nowadays I see irrelevant Google AdSense ads much more than usual and they are often pretty outrageous. Here is a glaring example (click on image for larger view): I think it is trying to over-optimize or simply running out of ads.

March 12th, 2008 Would you approve a (blog) comment where the commenter's name is "Best Way To Loose Weight"? Any sane blogger would never approve such comments even if it is relevant to context. Do you know why? As comment author is linked with author URL, such comments are obviously intended to highlight the keywords he wants to increase search engine positioning and ranking.
