Right before the attack, Tweets from all over the world indicated that the facebook pages of important opposition leaders in Iran went down, a.o. the one of Mousavi. It is still not reacheable as we speak.
About an hour later, Twitter went completely off-line. Twitter is used since weeks by the Iran opposition movement to organize and distribute info about protests. It’s actually about the only way the get info out.
At the same moment, iran.whyweprotest.net went out too. And LiveJournal, where a lot of Iranian bloggers are venting information and frustration.
If you add everything together, I would not be surprised if the attacks came from the Iran governement in an attempt to silence the opposition, at least temporally.
