Google Warns Australia of Going Back To Pre-Internet Era ±¸±Û °æ°í ¿À½ºÆ® ·¹ÀÏ ¸®¾Æ - ÀÎÅÍ³Ý ½Ã´ë¸¦ »çÀü¿¡ µ¹¾Æ°£´Ù
Internet search engine leader, Google has warned Australia (why does Google start sounding like Microsoft with each passing day?) of going back to "pre-internet era" if the proposed changes to Australia's copyright laws are legislated. ÀÎÅÍ³Ý °Ë»ö ¿£ÁøÀÇ ÁöµµÀÚ, ±¸±ÛÀº °æ°í¸¦ ¿À½ºÆ® ·¹ÀÏ ¸®¾Æ (±¸±ÛÀ» ½ÃÀÛÇÏ´Â ÀÌÀ¯´Â ¹«¾ùÀԴϱî microsoft¿Í ¸ÅÀÏ ¸ÅÀÏ °°ÀÌ µé¸®´Â±º¿ä?)ÀÇ Ã¥µéÀ» À§·Î "»çÀü - ÀÎÅÍ³Ý ½Ã´ë"¸¸¾à¿¡ È£ÁÖÀÇ ÀúÀ۱ǹý¿¡ ÀÇÇØ º¸È£µË´Ï´ÙÀº Á¦¾ÈµÈ º¯°æ »çÇ×À» Á¦Á¤ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
"Given the vast size of the Internet, it is impossible for a search engine to contact personally each owner of a web page to determine whether the owner desires its web page to be searched, indexed or cached," Google said Tuesday. "ÁÖ¾îÁø Å©±âÀÇ ±¤´ëÇÑ ÀÎÅͳÝ, °ÍÀº ºÒ°¡´ÉÇÏ´Ù °Ë»ö ¿£ÁøÀ»ÇÏ´Â À¥ ÆäÀÌÁöÀÇ ¼ÒÀ¯ÀÚ¿¡°Ô ¿¬¶ôÀ» °³ÀÎÀûÀ¸·Î °¢°¢ÀÇ ¼ÒÀ¯ ¿©ºÎ¸¦ È®ÀÎÇÏ´Â ¿å¸ÁÀÇ À¥ ÆäÀÌÁö¸¦ °Ë»ö, »öÀÎ ¶Ç´Â ij½Ã¿¡¼"±¸±Û ¸»Çß´Ù È¿äÀÏÇÕ´Ï´Ù."If such advanced permission was required, the internet would promptly grind to a halt," Google's senior counsel and head of public policy Andrew McLaughlin told the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee. Such requirements would "condemn the Australian public to the pre-internet era and will place them at a serious competitive disadvantage with those in other countries who have such access," McLaughlin said. I agree that it is impossible for Google or any other search engines to individually contact owners of each site. µ¿ÀÇÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº ºÒ°¡´É ±¸±ÛÀ̳ª ´Ù¸¥ °Ë»ö ¿£ÁøÀ» ÅëÇØ °¢ »çÀÌÆ® ¼ÒÀ¯ÀÚ°¡ °³º°ÀûÀ¸·Î ¿¬¶ôÇÕ´Ï´Ù. However I disagree on Google's assertion that it will grind internet to a halt or even more far-fetched that it will move Australia back to "pre-internet era". ±×·¯³ª ±¸±ÛÀÇ ÁÖÀå¿¡ µ¿ÀÇÇÏÁö ¾Ê½À´Ï´ÙÀÌ ÀÎÅͳÝÀ» °¥±â - ¹ÝÀÔÀ» ÁßÁöÇϰųªÀÌ ÈξÀ ´õ ¸Ö¸® À̵¿ ¿À½ºÆ® ·¹ÀÏ ¸®¾Æ À§·Î "»çÀü - ÀÎÅÍ³Ý ½Ã´ë". Google assertion isn't logical. ±¸±Û ÁÖÀåÀº ³í¸®ÀûÀÎÇÕ´Ï´Ù.

Australia is far behind Europe when it comes to internet services which clearly shows that Australia is still at Pre-Internet Era right now.
