Google Announces Google Desktop Gadget Contest

December 14th, 2004 Occassionally Google Desktop Search contacts internet, even when I am not using it. This makes me nervous.

July 8th, 2009 NEW YORK - Internet giant Google announced Wednesday the arrival of its own computer operating system, initially designed for use with Netbook computers. Google Chrome OS, based on the company's nine-month old browser software, is to be available to consumers from the second half of 2010, a statement on Google's blog said.

January 8th, 2008 It has been several hours since Google search went down. Google services on google.com domain, including but not limited to GMail or Google Analytics, Google Adsense etc., are down too while blogsearch.google.com is up and running.

November 3rd, 2004 I have been using Google Desktop for about a week now and it is a wonderful tool to have, except for few caveats. It works seamlessly out of box (didn't yet find out where it is storing all the indexed information) and is very useful to find information specially for people like me who loves to store information, yet don't give enough time to organize it.

August 21st, 2006 A Chinese blogger finds Google.com inaccessible around 60% of the time whereas Google.cn is perfectly accessible. Is it coincidence or intetnional? Is Google intentionally blocking Google.com in China and providing intermittent access instead of outright banning to prevent backlash from internet community & activists.
