I have the same problem. If you are writing in a language other than English (which is my situation) targeting AdSense ads is always a problem. But last week, especially during and after the last PR update, AdSense units started displaying ads unrelated more than ever.
I wrote AdSense support about the subject, and followed their suggestions. Now, I am waiting for results, and hoping that their help works
