Google AdSense Competitive Ad Filter - Limits Removed
Google AdSense competitive ad filter is an excellent way to provide better advertisements and deter MFA's. One of the grievances for big publishers was the small number of filters you could set per account, merely 200. Apparently Google has silently eliminated the 200 URL limit for filters.
Today I could find no mention about the maximum limit anywhere on the competitive filter setting page or on the filter guide. It is a welcome change.
I found something rather interesting in their help pages:
Please note that Google does not commit that all ads for the websites that you add to your competitive ad filter list or ads containing objectionable content will be prevented from display on your site.
What's up with that?

Well, actually it’s still there
… I tried the CAF for the first time today, and maxed it out already. Guess that’s a record break :D… but I found a list of about 600 MFA sites for my keywords, and wanted to kick them out… Google showed me the red when I pasted them in…
It would be a good thing if they did actually remove the limit though…
