I used to work for Extensity Inc., now part of GEAC. كنت على العمل من اجل Extensity شركة ، التي أصبحت الآن جزءا من geac. Extensity Expense Report Software was the key product of Extensity. Extensity حساب البرامج التقرير هو مفتاح المنتج من Extensity. I was project lead for Extensity’s Expense Report Software product. الاول هو ان يؤدي المشروع لتقرير على حساب البلد Extensity منتج البرامج. I have knowledge about this domain and strong interest. لقد المعرفه عن هذا المجال والاهتمام الشديد. So with keen interest I looked into AdiSoft’s Enterprise Expense Reporting Software - Expense Submittal System, a Java software, which is distributed under GPL and hence can be downloaded and used for free. ذلك باهتمام شديد فرحت ابحث في adisoft التابع لحساب برامج اعداد التقارير -- حساب خضوع النظام ، وهو برنامج جافا ، والتي توزع بموجب الترخيص العام ، وبالتالي يمكن تحميلها واستخدامها مجانا.

The installer requires Apache web server and Tomcat to be installed. المثبت يتطلب خادم ويب اباتشي وقط لتركيبها. Also it possibly expects Apache-Tomcat integration to be in place. كما انها ربما تتوقع اباتشي - التكامل قط ان تكون في المكان. In any case my login attempts didn’t succeed and I managed to crash it easily. في اي حال تسجيل دخولي المحاولات لم تنجح وتمكنت من تحطم بسهولة.

Looking from the documentation it has well rounded features though I am rather skeptical about its “semantic mapping” strategy for screen creation. تبحث عن وثائق لها بالاضافة الى ميزات مقربة رغم انني مشكك بل عن "رسم الخرائط الدلاليه" استراتيجية لانشاء الشاشه. From my personal experience this part can be ugly and often requires Professional Services support. من تجربتي الشخصيه في هذا الجزء يمكن ان تكون قبيحة وكثيرا ما يحتاج إلى دعم الخدمات المهنيه. Their support is reasonably priced. هو دعمها بأسعار معقولة.

How much does a service contract cost? كم هي تكلفة عقد الخدمات؟ Depending on the level of support, contracts can range from $75 for the 30-day initial support to $1,500 for a one-week installation agreement to $20,000 for premium annual support. ويتوقف ذلك على مستوى الدعم ، يمكن ان تتراوح بين عقود 75 دولارا للال 30 يوما الأولى لتقديم الدعم الى 1500 دولار لمدة اسبوع واحد لتركيب اتفاق 20000 دولار لدعم القسط السنوي. There are other agreements in between these extremes. وهناك اتفاقات أخرى بين هذين النقيضين.

Current customers use this package with major accounting packages, including SAP®, Great Plains®, and others. الزبائن الحالية استخدام هذه المجموعة مع مجموعات المحاسبه الرئيسية ، بما فيها برنامج التكيف الهيكلي ® ، ® السهول العظمى ، وغيرها. ESS also comes standard with an ACH file transfer creation module. كما يأتي معيار النظام الاحصائي الاوروبي مع منظمة العمل ضد الجوع ونقل الملفات وانشاء وحدة.

I expected integration with Oracle Finance and Oracle Project Accounting. كنت اتوقع الاندماج مع شركة اوراكل اوراكل المشروع والتمويل والمحاسبه.

The software lacks some key features which I consider “must have” for any expense reporting software like: البرامج تفتقر الى بعض السمات الرئيسية التي اعتبرها "يجب ان يكون" لحساب الابلاغ عن أي برامج مثل :
1. Support for internationalization. دعما للتدويل. I am actually very surprised by this. في الحقيقة انني افاجأ بموقفه.
2. Support for flexible business rules in routing workflow. دعم الأعمال التجارية لقواعد مرنة في توجيه سير العمل. This allows you to easily and rapidly customize your Expense Report workflow to (changing) business requirements. وهذا ما يتيح لك بسهولة وبسرعة قم تقرير سير العمل لحساب (تغيير) متطلبات العمل.
3. Support for offline mode. تقديم الدعم لوضع الاتصال. In other words ability to file your expense report while you are on flight or without internet connection. وبعباره اخرى القدرة على الملف الخاص بك حساب التقرير ، بينما أنت على الطيران او دون الاتصال بشبكه الانترنت.

Workflow appears to be an afterthought rather than an integral part of the software as it should be. تدفق العمل ويبدو ان بعد حين بدلا من ان جزءا لا يتجزأ من برامج الحاسوب ما ينبغي ان يكون.

Without seeing the UI it is hard to go into further details of the software. دون رؤية واجهة المستخدم ومن الصعب الخوض في تفاصيل اخرى من البرامج. I am interested to see how it handles multiple line items and workflow. يهمني ان نرى كيف تتعامل مع بنود متعددة وتدفق العمل. The quality needs to be improved upon looking at how easy it was to crash the software. نوعية يحتاج الى تحسين عند النظر في مدى سهولة وكان لحادث تحطم برامج الحاسوب. Also the installer should be made somewhat more flexible and verbose. المثبت كما ينبغي ان يكون اكثر مرونة بعض الشيء ومضجر.

Overall I would rather wait for few more versions before even thinking of using this software. عموما ولكنني انتظر لبضع نسخ من قبل حتى التفكير باستخدام هذا البرنامج. It didn’t give me the impression of being near its boastful claim - “Best corporate expense reporting system available - period.” Overall in enterprise software selection you have to keep in mind that the real cost is in adoption, maintenance and customization and not in the upfront cost. انها لا تعطيني انطباعا بأنها بالقرب من boastful المطالبة -- "افضل الشركات حساب نظام تقديم التقارير المتاحة -- الفترة". الشامل في اختيار المشاريع والبرامج لديك ان نأخذ في الاعتبار ان التكلفه الحقيقية هي في اعتماد وصيانة وتكييف وليس في التكلفه التي تقتضيها مسبقا.
