Is there a need to upgrade beyond WordPress 1.5.1.2 in near future?June 20th, 2005 I looked at the proposed feature set summary for WordPress 1.6. Mostly UI changes, few extra plugin hooks etc.
Simple Thoughts Upgraded To WordPress 2.0.7January 18th, 2007 I finally took the plunge and upgraded this blog to WordPress 2.0.7, the latest sparkling version of WordPress (till 2.1 comes out later this month). I am happy to say that the upgrade was uneventful for once and things looked fine after sanity checks.

After my WordPress 1.5 upgrade and enabling of an option to reject comments from open proxy, no comments (over 100) were appearing on my blogs. Moreover they were silently discarded.

However I soon realized that I wasn't receiving any normal comments too on very commentable articles.
