Pfizer Inc. said US regulators (FDA) have approved its cholesterol lowering drug Lipitor. وقالت شركة فايزر الاميركية المنظمين (الهيءه) قد وافقت على المخدرات lipitor خفض الكولسترول. Lipitor is used to reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack in diabetic patients. Lipitor تستخدم للحد من خطر قلبية والسكته الدماغيه في مرضى السكري :.

The approval is for patients with type 2, or adult onset, diabetes (NIDDM) who have no signs of heart disease but have multiple risk factors (described below) for the condition. هذه الموافقة للمرضى الذين يعانون من النوع 2 ، او بداية البالغين ، وداء السكري (niddm) ليس لها من علامات امراض القلب ومتعددة ولكنها عوامل الخطر (المبينه ادناه) للشرط.

Common risk factors include high cholesterol, high blood pressure, a family history of heart disease, smoking and obesity. وتشمل عوامل الخطر المشتركة ارتفاع الكوليسترول في الدم ، وارتفاع ضغط الدم ، وتاريخ الاسرة من امراض القلب والبدانه والتدخين.
