Eclipse & Java Tutorial for Beginners

September 17th, 2005 I am trying to develop (java) web applications (running on Tomcat 5.5) with Eclipse 3.1. The obvious choice - Sysdeo Tomcat plugin doesn't work even with 3.1beta version.

April 8th, 2009 The breaking news today is Google App Engine has finally announced support for Java. The Java environment provides a Java 6 JVM, a Java Servlets interface, and support for standard interfaces to the App Engine scalable datastore and services, such as JDO, JPA, JavaMail, and JCache.

May 8th, 2008 I was amazed to find Microsoft design engineer Mugunthan Mugundan teaching Java (how to create REST output using Java) using Eclipse IDE. I found it rich in irony at many levels.
