Saw a movie called Untraceable recently which, don’t get me wrong, was just a hollywood movie, but it was about a hacker using social networking as a murder weapon (kind of…you’d have to see it) and doing it in a way that, as the title suggests, is untraceable. The movie wasn’t great but it was interesting to think that with the right skill set it’s possible to be virtually unidentifiable. I’m even more interested to see how the governing bodies of the world govern this beast that is the web.
