Crocodile Hunter Dead

Steve Irwin, famously known as Crocodile Hunter for his Discovery Channel shows, was killed in a freak accident in Cairns, police sources said. It is understood he was killed by a sting-ray barb that went through his chest.

He was swimming off the Low Isles at Port Douglas filming an underwater documentary and that’ is when it occured. via

steve irwin He was very likable and good guy and did a great job promoting Australia to the rest of the world. His enthisiasm was contagious. I am sad to see him go.
